Police say man discriminated against Muslims in a social media video before his arrest
Dubai: A man who abused and mocked Muslims in a social media video was arrested and referred to the competent authorities for further legal action, said Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police.
Al Mazeina said that the anti-discrimination law No 2 for 2015 criminalises all forms of contempt of religion, combats all types of discriminations and rejects all hate speeches through various means of expression.
He stressed on the importance of respecting religions urging all people to keep away from abusing them.
