Man found hanging from ceiling in Sharjah

Sharjah: A 29-year-old Indian man was found hanging at his home in Maysaloon area on Monday, a Sharjah Police official told Gulf News.

The official said the man, identified as S.L.A, apparently committed suicide by hanging himself with a piece of cloth.

“He was found hanging from the ceiling," he said.

Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and forensics officials examined the scene of the apparent suicide after police reported the incident on Monday, the official said.

The man’s body was transferred to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy. Wasit Police are investigating the case.
