Man breaks television sets at shop over Dh100 dispute
Customer turned violent and demanded his money back when technician failed to repair his TV properly
Sharjah: An Egyptian man broke several television sets at a repair shop in Al Guwair area in Sharjah, after as he fought with the shop owner who allegedly failed to fix his TV set,
The man, 53, paid the 18-year-old technician Dh100 to repair his TV set.
Later, when he took his TV to his house, it did not work. The Egyptian man went back to the shop to complain and got involved in a verbal argument with the Pakistani TV technician, and demanded his money back. He reportedly got angry when the shop owner refused to give his money back, and broke several television sets at the shop. Both sustained minor injuries in the fight and were taken to hospital for treatment.
Al Gharb Police are investigating the case.
