Man arrested for selling pornographic movies

Sharjah A Bangladeshi man was arrested in Sharjah for selling pirated and pornographic DVDs.

Sharjah Police’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID), caught the accused with 2,227 DVDs and Dh6,105 in cash.

After receiving information about the accused, the department created a team that tracked him down and arrested him red-handed.

Police found out that he was staying illegally in the country.

The man confessed and his case was referred to Sharjah’s public prosecution.

Sharjah Police warned the public against selling pirated and pornographic DVDs and urged people to report offenders.
