Cigarette lighter gas leads to car explosion

Ajman: A car that was parked near Al Nuaimiya towers in Ajman was badly damaged after a minor blast due cause by gas that collected in the car on Sunday, Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Mohammad Al Nuaimi, director of the Al Nuaimiya Police Station, said.

The incident took place when the two Arab men released the gas from the lighters and filled the car with it while the windows were closed.

They admitted that they were inhaling the substance when one of them tried to ignite the lighter while the car was still full of the gas, causing the explosion. The men were transferred to the hospital for treatment.
