Ras Al Khaimah: Police in cooperation with Ras Al Khaimah Municipality have shut down a business alleged to have processed and sold expired meat, said police on Sunday.

Brigadier Abdullah Ali Munkis, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, said municipal inspectors found the business was manipulating expiration dates by packing products in bags and boxes with new expiration dates for resale.

Accordingly, a joint team was formed by the Organised Crimes Section and the health section inspectors.
