Body found by roadside in Sharjah

Sharjah: Sharjah Police have launched an investigation following the discovery of a body in the Industrial Area on Friday, police told Gulf News on Saturday.

The police operations room was alerted around 4pm about a body lying by a roadside. The deceased was later identified as a 41-year-old Bangladeshi man, A.S.A.

He added: “An investigation team of the CID, prosecutors and a forensic doctor rushed to the spot where the body was found and it was examined.”

Officials said that the body has been transferred to a forensic laboratory for an autopsy so that the cause of death can be established and the investigation completed.
