Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Police seized 106 vehicles in January for making significant modifications and causing noise disturbances to residents in Al Ain City.

As per the UAE traffic law, driving noisy vehicles is considered a serious traffic violation.

Drivers who make modifications to their vehicles without authorisation will face a fine of Dh2,000 and 12 black points and will have their vehicles impounded for 30 days.

Those who want to release their vehicles and avoid the impoundment will have to pay Dh10,000.
