Sharjah: All public parks in the Sharjah residential areas were re-opened on Tuesday.

Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah directed Sharjah Municipality to open all the public parks in  residential areas with effect from Tuesday, October 19.

Parks in Sharjah had first closed in early 2020 as a precautionary measure against the COVID-19 pandemic. With the UAE's successful response to the pandemic and the gradual return to normalcy, many places, including parks, have been reopening.
