"I have been away from the UAE for about five years, pursuing bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering. Upon my return, I found Dubai as wonderful as it has always been, constantly rising to lead the entire Middle East. National Day reminds me and every UAE citizen of the huge role played by its founding fathers and the current leadership in developing the country and achieving its status in the world today. I am proud and honoured to be a part of the future of the UAE."
