Cat Rental Store opens in Sharjah

A new, one-stop shop for construction equipment, tools and supply items on rental and retail sales, recently opened its doors to the public.

The Cat Rental Store, the Middle East's first one-stop-shop for construction equipment, was formally inaugurated at Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Bahar Sharjah facility by Jose Brousset, Caterpillar Geneva, and Issam M. Al Bahar, executive vice-president of Al Bahar.

On display, besides the usual Caterpillar machines, were other leading brands such as Atlet, Bosch, Bendi, JLG, Miller, Terex, Briggs & Stratton, Tyrolit and Wacker, to name a few.

The store has a wide range of items such as floor saws, plate compactors, vertical rammers, poker vibrators, submersible pumps, cement mixers, bench saws, jig saws, rotary drills, combi hammers, heavy breakers, angle grinders, core drilling machines, portable gensets, centrifugal pumps, pressure washers, mobile light towers, welding machines, access equipment, articulated lift trucks, reach stacker, among others.

The supply items on offer comprised standard tools, drills bits, cutting discs, grinding discs, diamond blades, saw blades, core drills, safety shoes, safety gloves, safety helmets, safety glasses, sealants, tools, sprays, road safety items, lubricants, building products, among others.

A.G. Dastidar, manager of the store, said the focus area will be to provide modern and reliable quality products to customers, together with other value added services.
