The winners of the President's Cup will receive Dh350,000 as prize money and the runners-up will get Dh150,000. This was decided by the UAE FA following a noble deed from the President His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to honour all the UAE distinguished persons in accordance with the President's continuous support for the youth and sports in the UAE.

This was announced by Mattar Al Tayer, the UAE FA general secretary. The President's Cup final will be held tomorrow at Zayed Sports City stadium in Abu Dhabi between Al Ahli and Al Jazira.

The winners get Dh 50,000 and the second-placed team will receive Dh150,000. This prize money has been decided for the first time. In the past years no prize money was given to the winners.

Al Tayer added in his statement, "On this great occasion Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE FA President, and Sheikh Diab bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE FA Deputy President, and the UAE FA board of director members take the opportunity to express their gratitude to His Highness the President for his great generosity and support to the UAE youth and football players in particular."
