Bridal extravaganza set to dazzle Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: Preparations are on track for the Bride Show Abu Dhabi, which will run from January 21 to 24 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

With more fashion shows than any other event in the capital, brides-to-be and fashion enthusiasts can find ideas from 16 fashion shows featuring top regional and international designers.

Ahmad Al Reyaysa, UAE national couturier, will be on hand for his label Dar Sara, showing dresses priced from Dh50,000 to Dh1 million.

"The Bride Show Abu Dhabi plays a crucial role in this industry's growth by giving new fashion boutiques the opportunity to increase their profile..." said Daphne Cota, Bridal Exhibition manager. "It is also an excellent platform for young designers to make their mark on a larger stage."

Haute couture fashion houses such as Ghawashi and Scallini, Abaya designers, Mauzan and Abu Haleeqa will also take to the runway unveiling their latest collections. German retailer Catwalk highlights will include exquisite designs from prized labels Elie Saab, Ungaro and Valentino.
