Ashok Kumar of the Jumeirah Wanderers struck a stroke-filled century and Manoj Navani of Mehfil Group claimed six for 19 to take the day's honours in the Inter-Hotel cricket tournament, organised by the Dubai Cricket Council.

Ashok hit 116 with 13 fours and five sixes as Jumeirah Wanderers defeated Royal Meridien by 94 runs. Ashok was well assisted by Mihira Wijesinghe, who chipped in with 78 which included eight fours and three sixes.

Royal Meridien, in reply were all out for 188 with Dinesh taking three wickets for 20 runs. Sohan and Mihira shared four wickets. Manoj produced the day's best haul as his team defeated Dutco Group by 12 runs.
