Appeal for help from Palestinian Chamber

The Union of the Palestinian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UPCCI) has issued a fresh appeal to the international community to support the Palestinian people against Israel's persistent aggression and oppressive policies.

The appeal was issued through the Arab chambers of commerce and industry and was distributed here by the Abu Dhabi Chamber.

"The UPCCI is appealing to all international and humanitarian organisations as well as the representatives of the European Union and the Islamic chambers of commerce to exert intensive efforts to expose the hostile practices and behaviour exercised by the non-humanitarian Zionist oppression against the people of Palestine," it said.

"Being one nation, we are addressing this appeal to you hoping you will show support and steadfastness with the Palestinian people to enable them to regain their legitimate rights in an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital."
