DUBAI If you are the kind who loves to sleep in late on weekends, this is something you will relish. Mozzo Centrale, a restaurant in Umm Suqueim 1 in Dubai, has come to the rescue of all late-risers by serving breakfast well into the evening.

A spokesperson for the restaurant said: “It’s never too late for breakfast. The restaurant has extended the breakfast tradition during weekends and official holidays as it is not always possible for people to meet strict deadlines to wake up.”

She said the breakfast menu, distinct from the lunch and dinner menu, is sumptuous and offers everything from eggs benedict and pancakes to French toast, bagels and crispy hash browns.

OMG!

Innovative names like Sloppy Al and OMG Loaded Stuffy only add to the laidback experience offered by the restaurant. While Sloppy Al is soft scrambled eggs, chives, cheddar cheese, caramelised onions and chipotle mayo in a warm brioche bun, OMG Loaded Stuffy is a cinnamon brioche stuffed with mascarpone, fresh bananas and strawberries served with Vermont maple syrup.

The menu also includes complete packages with fresh juice, coffee or tea. They include items like the Londoner, Beiruti, New Yorker and Huevos Rancheros. The Londoner, for instance, comprises eggs scrambled or fried with roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, beef bacon, chicken sausage, homemade hash browns and toast.

There’s a dedicated section called ‘Healthies’ for those watching what they eat. The highlights include steel-cut oatmeal, an exotic fruit muesli and fresh fruit bowl where seasonal fresh fruits are served with orange juice and yoghurt.

Prices range from Dh24 for a basic egg dish to Dh59 for a complete breakfast.
