Fashion show at Wafi matches mood and clothes
The giraffe and zebra print invitation cards invited guests to "be a part of a fashion gala inspired by the spirit of Africa". The entrance to the Roof Top Gardens, Pyramids, Wafi City, was decorated with Assagai spears and shields, tribal masks, bright African textiles and giant candles painted with animal motifs. Waiters in African attire guided guests to tables covered with animal print tablecloths strewn with cloves and other African spices and decorated with Shaman rattles, musical instruments and candles.
Suzie Fitzsimons, managing director of Ocean Star Trading, and her colleagues (who all wore African robes and turbans) had promised the guests a unique and fun evening and the fashion show held on November 1 to celebrate the opening of Oui at Wafi mall lived up to that promise.
