Al Nasr's professional striker N'diyai Semba has signed a one-year contract with Al Ittihad Club of Saudi Arabia for the coming season.
Al Nasr's professional striker N'diyai Semba has signed a one-year contract with Al Ittihad Club of Saudi Arabia for the coming season.
The Saudi premier division league champions have recruited the professional footballer with an eye on two crucial games of the Egyptian-Saudi Super Cup against Al Ismaili and Zamalek Clubs.
The games will be held on July 4 and 24.
The signing could cause a legal tickle for the French player with Senegalese roots as his contract with Al Nasr expires only on July 27.
Semba was impressive in his display for Al Nasr last season, which promoted the board to renew his contract. But Semba's agent demanded a huge amount of money for the renewal along with fresh clauses involving bonus payments for every competition won by Al Nasr next season.
Al Nasr officials are now contesting that Semba's contract with Al Ittihad is illegal as the striker still has to see his tenure through here.
The officials have even threatened to complain to FIFA, if the player trains with another club.
Meanwhile, Al Nasr has taken a final decision regarding external training camps for it's various teams during August.
Now serving the club for a second year, French coach Raine Exbrayat will lead the senior and reserve football teams for training camps to be held in Italy and France from August 5 to 29.
The first camp will be in Imola, Italy for a duration of 10 days. The rest will be in Saint Etteine, France where the team will play warm up matches against French teams.
Algerian Latif Borayid will guide the under-18 team, while Moroccan Abdul Razaq Shelaih will look after the under-16 side.
Al Nasr's football school is headed by Frenchman Gilber Zunked.
The under-18 and under-16 football teams will proceed to Slovakia in August along with the senior handball team.
The Al Nasr cycling team which dominated the domestic scene last season will also hold a training camp in Slovakia from August 9-29.
Juma Jaffar, director of Al Nasr Club's public relations, will head all the delegations during their training camps in Slovakia.
