The Al Ain senior soccer outfit, last year's League Champions, are scheduled to return home tonight via Dubai International airport after concluding their 24-day European warm-up camp.

The team spent 13 days in Austria before moving to Germany to stay for 11 more days. During their European camp Al Ain conducted a series of training sessions and five friendly games under the guidance of the French coach Bruno Metsu and his technical body.

The team concluded the programme with a morning session conducted yesterday after which the mission moved to Munich.

They spent one night there before heading to the airport to get ready for their return flight. The team's coach Metsu flew yesterday to France for a three-day vacation. He is due to return to the UAE and start his stint on Saturday.

The players were awarded a two-day rest. They are to play a single friendly game against a local team on September 5 before meeting Al Himreiya on September 12 in the first preliminary stage of the President's Cup.
