Scores of residents from different age groups and nationalities are making a beeline to a two-week-long festival titled Ajial Abu Dhabi at Shaikh Khalifa Park in the capital.
Abu Dhabi: Scores of residents from different age groups and nationalities are making a beeline to a two-week-long festival titled Ajial Abu Dhabi at Shaikh Khalifa Park in the capital. The festival started on Sunday afternoon.
The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City has organised the event along with the beginning of the first school semester vacation, said a statement issued by the municipality.
The programmes kicked off on Sunday afternoon which saw enthusiastic public participation in several sports events, exclusive events for ladies, musical shows and horse and camel rides amongst other activities.
Daily events start at 3pm and continue up to midnight throughout the week, but on the weekends runs from 12.00pm to midnight. The entry fee is Dh10 per person.
The games areas which included skiing, auto races and shooting were packed on the first two days.
