Airlink between Dubai and China has recently been strengthened by China Southern Airlines, when its inaugural flight CZ 931 from Beijing via Urumqi landed at the Dubai International Airport on Monday evening.

Airlink between Dubai and China has recently been strengthened by China Southern Airlines, when its inaugural flight CZ 931 from Beijing via Urumqi landed at the Dubai International Airport on Monday evening.

On behalf of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) and chairman of Emirates Group, Mohammad Al Tayer, director, Protocol and Public Relations, DCA, received the delegation on board the flight.

Al Tayer said, "The DCA welcomes China Southern Airlines to Dubai. We look forward to forging a new relationship and bringing in new business partners. We strive to provide the highest standards of service to all our customers."

China Southern Airlines will operate one flight weekly on the Dubai - Beijing route. Dubai International Airport now receives 105 airlines connecting to 150 destinations.
