Aid ordered for Pakistan after quake

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan ordered immediate aid to be sent to Pakistan's Baluchistan province that has been hit by an earthquake. Shaikh Khalifa directed the Khalifa Bin Zayed Charity Foundation to take the necessary measure as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Shaikh Khalifa received a telephone call yesterday from Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Shaikh Khalifa was thanked by president Saleh for the aid and assistance offered by the UAE to the flood victims in Yemen.

He also expressed the gratitude and thanks of the people of Yemen for this initiative which reflects the deep relations between the two counties.
