Winners of the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Awards were announced yesterday at the 5th Annual Adnoc HSE ceremony. Awards were presented in the categories of Health, Safety, Environment and HSE Performance.
Winners of the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Awards were announced yesterday at the 5th Annual Adnoc HSE ceremony. Awards were presented in the categories of Health, Safety, Environment and HSE Performance. An award was also presented to the most innovative submission.
The runner-up in the category of Health was NDC and the winner Zadco for Effective Food Hygiene Monitoring.
The runner-up in the category of Safety was Adco and the winner Adgas for applying highest safety standards while operating LNG train on LPG mode - during cryogenic column repair.
The runner-up in the category of Environment was Adnoc and the winner Zadco for flare gas reduction through improved pigging operations.
The runner up in HSE performance was Adma-Opco and the winner Alliance Bechtel Linde for construction HSE program for borouge petrochemicals project.
The runner-up in the category of Innovation was NPCC and the winner Zadco for flare gas reduction through improved pigging operations.
During his opening speech, H.E Yousef Omeir bin Yousef, chief executive of Adnoc, said "The HSE Award Programme serves several important functions. It recognises outstanding achievement by individuals and teams from across the Adnoc group of companies. It helps to increase awareness of, and commitment to, HSE matters within the Adnoc Group. Finally the HSE Award submissions capture best practice and business know-how"
At the end of his speech, Yousef congratulated all those who entered submissions for the awards and thanked Group Company General Managers and HSE Managers for their support and participation in the judging process.
