Adihex set to be bigger than ever

Abu Dhabi: The 11th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (Adihex) takes place on September 4-7 and this year features a variety of new events

Last year, Adihex saw 600 exhibitioners in a 38,000 square-metre space, the largest the event has ever been, and this year it is expected to be even larger, with more than 100,000 guests anticipated.

“This exhibition is for lovers of culture, horses, water and land sports and is also special because it is suitable for family members of all ages and nationalities,” said Director of Adihex, Abdullah Al Qubaisi.

This year, falcon and saluki dog shows will continue to make their appearance in addition to beauty pageants for horses. A total of Dh500,000 stands to be won throughout the exhibition’s various competitions, including the contest for traditional preparation of best Arabian coffee and best equestrian photograph, among others.
