Accident reported on UAE-hired vessel in Bab Al Mandab Strait

Abu Dhabi:  The General Command of the UAE Armed Forces announced on Saturday that one of its hired vessels was involved in an accident at Bab Al Mandab strait while on a routine trip from Aden.

No injuries have been reported.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the general command said investigations into the incident are underway to establish the circumstances leading to the accident.

The UAE is implementing various charitable, developmental and reconstruction projects in Yemen especially in educational, health, housing and public facilitates fields.
