Abu Dhabi traffic police extend office hours
The Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and License Department has announced that with effect from Monday business hours at its vehicle and driving license and violation sections in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain will be extended throughout the week, except for Thursdays and Fridays.

According to Lt. Colonel Ghaith Al Za'abi, working hours at these sections will now be amended to start from 7:30am to 9pm non-stop.
Al Za'abi said that the decision came in pursuance of directives by Major General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry, with the objective of providing better services to the public and to allow them ample time to finalise their vehicle and driving license formalities and pay violation charges.
"The decision also aims at reducing overcrowding, specially at morning peak hours," Al Za'abi added.
