Abu Dhabi Big Ticket: Meet Emirati homemaker in UAE who played live to win Dh110,000

Abu Dhabi: An Emirati homemaker played a lottery game live during the latest Big Ticket draw in Abu Dhabi and became one of the four lucky winners to take home a combined prize value of Dh390,000 in The Big Win Contest.

Sheikhnasseb Sh Babasahe, 48, has been purchasing Big Ticket entries every month for the last three years, entirely on her own.

“When I received the winning call, I was overjoyed,” she said.

“English isn’t my first language, so my daughter-in-law helps me with the purchase process. She buys the ticket and lets me pick the number.”

When she became a winner of The Big Win Contest, she was invited to play live in the latest draw of Series 273 held on April 3.

After playing in The Big Win Contest, she won Dh110,000.

With a dream of owning a car one day, she is determined to keep trying her luck. “I haven’t saved enough yet, but this win brings me one step closer. I’ll continue buying Big Ticket entries until I win the grand prize. That’s the dream,” she added
