Dubai: A 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck southern Iran on Tuesday, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reported.

The quake occurred at 12:02pm UAE time, with a depth of 10 kilometers, according to the NCM.

The tremor was not felt in the UAE and had no impact on the country, the NCM confirmed.
