Dubai: Book lovers will have more reasons to attend the fifth Emirates Airline Festival of Literature in March as 20 more literary giants have confirmed attendance to next year’s gathering, bringing the tally of authors to more than 100.
Festival organisers on Tuesday said renowned authors Shashi Tharoor, Ben Okri, Ahlem Mosteghanemi, Simon Sebag Montefiore and William Dalrymple will join the celebration of the love for the written word next year.
“The line-up is quite frankly a dream. We will welcome an extraordinary wealth of talent from all genres and parts of the world and I defy anyone not to find something to enjoy and savour,” Isobel Abulhoul, Festival Director, said.
The 2013 Festival will take place on March 5 to 9 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Dubai Festival City.
