Dubai: A magnitude 1.6 earthquake was recorded in Fujairah on Wednesday.
"The quake occurred at 6:18am in Dibba, Fujairah at a depth of 5 kilometres," the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said.
It was "slightly felt by residents and without any effect in UAE" the NCM said.
