Ministry of Environment and Spain discuss ways to facilitate trade

Dubai: The Ministry of Environment and Water and Spain yesterday discussed ways to enhance cooperation, and facilitate trade between the UAE and the Iberian country.

The meeting also discussed models for health and halal certificates accompanying shipments of meat exported into the UAE, and those exported to Islamic Societies in Spain who supervise halal certificates in Spain.

During a meeting held between Engineer Saif Al Shara’, Undersecretary at the ministry of environment and water and Acting Assistant for agricultural and livestock affairs, and Jaime Montalvo, Spain’s Economic and Commercial Consul at the Spanish Embassy in the UAE, the two sides spoke about terms that must be followed for the exportation of halal meat into the UAE.
