‘Made in Italy’ design and craftsmanship lands in the UAE

There are collaborations that make you squint, and then there are the ones that feel perfectly inevitable. Giorgetti and Maserati, two major names in Italian luxury, fall into the latter category, and they have now come together in the UAE.
One is a historic interior design house that builds furniture and the other is an iconic performance carmaker. Design, yes. Heritage, yes. Swagger, also yes.
Giorgetti and Maserati are presenting their joint collection at the Al Tayer Motors Maserati showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. It’s the largest Maserati display venue in the world, with the colab following earlier presentations in other leading style centres of the world such as Milan, Paris, London, and New York.
For these two Italian brands, the UAE isn’t just another stop on the calendar. The Middle East is a key market for design, architecture, and high-end bespoke interiors, and Giorgetti is responding with the opening of its first brand store in Dubai early next year, with plans for a location in Riyadh also in the future. The curated space is designed by celebrated Pritzker Prize-winning architect Richard Meier.
Led by Giorgetti Creative Director Giancarlo Bosio and Maserati Head of Design Klaus Busse, the collection was developed in a true merging of creative minds with both companies working closely together. The result is a line of high-end furniture as well as a truly unique one-off Grecale Maserati Giorgetti Edition car.
"The Giorgetti Maserati Edition collection doesn't exist as a standalone project—it's not simply a co-branding exercise, nor the classic licensing arrangement to create a new branded collection,” explains Giovanni del Vecchio, CEO of Giorgetti. “Instead, it weaves naturally into Giorgetti's collections. It's the meeting of two identities founded on profound, shared values that merge to create something that speaks to both worlds without belonging exclusively to either.”
The furniture presented in Dubai includes three interior settings built around the aesthetic theme of movement and fluidity, or to put it simply, performance. Maserati’s famed trident logo and the brand’s tradition of naming cars after winds are also taken into account.
As for the car, the Grecale Maserati Giorgetti Edition SUV features special materials, colour palettes, and interior finishes echoing the same aesthetic language seen in the furniture: soft curves, tactile surfaces, and a focus on comfort.
“Our collaboration with Giorgetti dovetails beautifully with our vision to become the guardians of 'Made in Italy,' notes Santo Ficili, COO of Maserati, “forging meaningful connections and stirring emotions while sharing our stories of innovation, heritage, uncompromising quality, and the exclusivity that binds our brands together.”
The exhibition is now on view at the Al Tayer Motors Maserati showroom, offering Dubai audiences an early look at a partnership that will continue expanding through new designs and future releases.
