Aden: The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) announced that preparations are ongoing to organise a mass wedding for 200 Yemeni couples in Aden.
The mass wedding, which is due to be held on Thursday, will be held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
The ERC said Thursday’s event will be the curtain raiser for holding mass weddings in different governorates for 2,000 Yemeni couples. As the organising body, the ERC said, it will exert every effort to ensure the event’s success.
