Dubai: Northwesterly winds will again kick up dust in exposed areas this weekend so keep your handkerchiefs or face masks ready when going out.
The UAE will have fair to partly cloudy skies on Friday and Saturday especially in the western region.
Northwesterly to westerly winds with speeds of 20km/h to 30km/h, with gusts of 40km/h, will blow dust at times over the exposed areas, especially in the northern parts of the country.
Dubai’s maximum temperature of 38 degree Celsius on Friday will drop to 35C on Saturday while temperatures in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah may see a 1C to 2C drop from 39C.
On Saturday, northwesterly to westerly winds will pick up speed of up to 35km/h, reaching 45km/h.
The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will be moderate to rough at times, especially northwards, this weekend.
