Dubai: Temperatures across the UAE have fallen to 10 degrees Celsius and below, with the lowest temperature recorded in Jebel Jais dipping to 4.8 degrees Celsius.

The top four minimum temperatures on Tuesday, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), also included Jebel Mebreh at 9.2 degrees Celsius, Raknah at 9 degrees Celsius, and Al Wahba at 10.4 degrees Celsius.

The NCM also advised residents to take caution of strong winds and rough seas as southeasterly-northeasterly winds will blow over the coastal areas at a speed of 18-28km/h, which may reach up to 40km/h at times.

The temperature until Thursday is expected to range from 17-30 degrees Celsius in coastal areas, while the mountain areas will have a minimum temperature of 11 degrees Celsius and a high of 23 degrees Celsius.

In the internal areas, the temperature will reach a maximum of 31 degrees Celsius with lows of 15 degrees Celsius.

In its weather forecast, the NCM said that low clouds will increase over some areas, “maybe convective at times especially over western coasts and Islands with probability of some rainfall."

The weather until Friday will be partly cloudy, with an increase in the clouds over some areas, especially west coast and island with the possibility of some rainfall.

Residents can expect humidity to rise at night, which will lead to fog and mist formation up until the early morning.
