Dubai: The eastern parts of the UAE and its islands will be affected with some rainfall on Monday, according to weather forecasters.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said the weather will be partly cloudy and dusty at times, although a significant amount of clouds will increase, especially over the islands and Eastern areas. 

Light rain is also expected to fall, with Northwesterly winds of 15-35km/h that will peak at 40km/h.

While the weather until the end of the week will be generally hazy and cloudy, the NCM said that temperatures will rise again by Tuesday.

“On Wednesday, light rain may fall eastward and over the coasts, with another increase in temperatures. Southeasterly winds will becom Northwesterly winds at 20-35km/h, reaching 45km/h at times,” said the NCM.

The temperature across the UAE will ranges from 21C-37C in coastal areas, 19-39C in internal areas and 17C-28C in the mountain region. 

The top five lowest temperatures on Monday, according to the NCM, included Jebel Jais at 16.8C, Damtha at 17.9C, Al Wathbah at 18C, Jebel Mabrah at 18.7C and Ashaab at 18.7C.
