Dubai: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has won the IDC Digital Transformation Award by DX, for using Nol cards at the smart turnstiles to pay entry fees at public parks in Dubai. DX, a company that specialised in digital transformation worldwide, presented this regional award during its annual conference held recently in Dubai.
Mattar Al Tayer, director-general and chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, said automated collection systems have witnessed remarkable improvements since the launch of the Nol card as a means for paying public transport fares and parking fees in Dubai.
