Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Police on Monday released Abu Dhabi Road Code 2011, a booklet of road safety guidelines for pedestrians, motorists and children as part of the GCC Traffic Week 2011 celebrations.

Omar Remil was delighted to see the interactive pavilion in the capital that highlighted the importance of using seat belts and adhering to speed limits.

People forget to drive safely while engrossed in their daily lives, and it is important to remind them about traffic regulations that may have become fuzzy in their minds, the 35-year-old paramedic from the Philippines told Gulf News.

The free booklet is available in Arabic, English and Urdu. The Marina Mall pavilion has brochures and interactive paraphernalia as part of the steps to promote road safety in the country as part of the week-long campaign.
