Police in Dubai closed off two lanes along Airport Road after a traffic accident happened on Monday morning.
According to Dubai Police, the accident took place at around 8am after Bin Sougat Shopping Centre, which affected traffic heading towards Dubai International Airport.
Motorists have been advised to look for alternative routes.

Commuters in Dubai were also delayed after two more accidents were reported near the exit of Meydan Street in Business Bay, along Al Khail Road, and on Hessa Street.
Heavy congestion further affected drivers on Oud Metha Road, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, Jebel Ali-Lahbab Road, and near Sharjah’s National Paints intersection.

In Abu Dhabi, traffic congestion was reported on Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan street and on Hazza Bin Zayed Street near the Qasr Al Bahr area.
