Dubai: Visitors can now enjoy more time at Dubai’s latest tourist destinations Dubai Safari and Dubai Frame as both facilities have extended the opening hours.

“You asked and we listened! We are happy to announce the new working hours of Dubai Frame starting tomorrow, Wednesday 21st of Feb,” Dubai Frame posted on social media on Tuesday afternoon.

As per the announcement, Dubai Frame will now be open from 9am to 9pm, an increase of three hours from the previous operating hours from 10 am to 7pm since its inauguration on January 1.

An architectural landmark bridging Dubai’s past, present and future, Dubai Frame gives a 360 degree view of the city with the skylines of New Dubai to the south and Old Dubai to the north from a glass bridge at a height of 150metres.

Visitors can also buy Dubai Safari tickets through its website www.dubaisafari.ae and at the main entrance of the Park.

2,500 animals

Home to over 2,500 animals and birds of 250 species, the Park has also started a new bird show. The first show is at 11:45am and the second show is at 3:45pm every day except Tuesdays.

From the intelligent crow to the wise owl and from one of the largest flying birds to a bird from the wilds of Africa, the bird show at the small theatre in the Safari Village showcases feathered friends in the world of flight, the Park said.

The Safari Village tickets are separately priced at the same rates. A combo ticket will give all access to the park. It is available for Dh85 for adults and Dh30 for children.

With the extension of operating hours, both the leisure destinations are expected to accommodate hundreds of more vistiors every day.

Dubai Safari Park had announced a daily capacity of 10,000 visitors and Dubai Frame 1,800 visitors.

However, both facilities used to manage to accommodate several more visitors during the rush they witnessed in the first weeks after their opening.
