Dubai: The UAE Platform for Scientific Laboratories was launched yesterday (Monday) by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Speaking at the launch, Shaikh Mohammad emphasised that the UAE is a leading global model for the ideal utilisation of people’s capabilities, and providing a scientific environment and research infrastructure that allows great minds to innovate pre-emptive solutions for major challenges facing humanity.
“Today we launched the UAE Platform for Scientific Laboratories, the first of its kind in the UAE.
"It will allow researchers and scientists to access the most advanced laboratory equipment, and creating an environment for scientists to exchange knowledge, expertise and scientific results,” said Shaikh Mohammad.
“Through this initiative, we are announcing that the UAE has become an open-air laboratory, a beacon for advanced sciences and a scientific environment for innovation that shapes the future of the UAE,” he added.
