UAE leaders exchange Ramadan greetings

Mohammad Bin Zayed hosts Iftar banquet in honour of Rulers and Crown princes and Deputy Rulers

Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Sunday received Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates and Crown Princes and deputy rulers on the occasion of Ramadan.

They exchanged Ramadan greetings with Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers; Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi of Sharjah, Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi of Fujairah, Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla of Umm Al Quwain, and Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi of Ras Al Khaimah.

The reception was also attended by Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers from around the UAE, including Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Shaikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman; Shaikh Mohammad Bin Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, in the presence of and Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, other Shaikhs and senior officials.

They expressed their warmest congratulations to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the occasion of Ramadan, wishing him continued health and well-being, as well as success in leading the nation towards further prosperity. They asked Allah Almighty to bless the UAE with security and stability.

The leaders extended their greetings to heroic UAE Armed Forces, wishing them safety and expressing their pride in their sacrifices.

They performed Maghreb prayers. Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed hosted an Iftar banquet in honour of the Rulers and Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers. The banquet was also attended by other Shaikhs, and senior civil and military officials. Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed also received members of the diplomatic corps in the UAE and exchanged Ramadan greetings.
