Dubai: The Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) has opened North Park, a new public park situated near the Cedre Villas project, to enhance the overall resident experience and foster community spirit.
The park’s aligns with the DSOA’s desirable society pillar, as part of its 2021 Strategy.
The 35,000-square metre North Park, set in a lush landscape, offers a diverse mix of amenities including water fountains, a kids’ play area with a separate section for toddlers, sports facilities, food and beverage options, and a parking lot for 91 cars.
Designed for use of strollers and wheelchairs, the walking paths feature smooth, even surfaces for convenience.
The park is also fitted with smart benches that are 100 per cent solar powered, and lighting systems that work using motion detection technologies.
North Park is open from 8am to 11pm Sunday to Thursday, and from 8am to 11pm on weekends and public holidays.
