Abu Dhabi: The new Moroccan Embassy in Abu Dhabi was inaugurated on Tuesday by Nasser Bourita, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Zaki Nussaibah, UAE Minister of State.

Speaking on the occasion, Bourita said: “We are proud of the brotherly and historic relations between Morocco and the UAE that span many decades and embody the finest form of brotherhood and solidarity between both countries’ leaderships and peoples.”

Bourita pointed out that these distinguished relations are growing stronger with each passing day thanks to the wise vision of both countries’ leaders.

On his part, Nussaibah hailed the strong UAE-Morocco relations under the leadership of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Morocco’s King Mohammad VI. He said that the foundation for these relations was laid by the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the late Moroccan King Hassan II.
