Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, honoured 36 outstanding officers during the graduation ceremony of the Joint Command and Staff College (JCSC).

Present were Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, and Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Shaikh Mohammad congratulated the officers on their academic excellence, and wished them success in attaining global standards in the field of military science and utilising their knowledge to serve their respective nations and armed forces.

The honoured outstanding graduates are from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Algeria, Sudan, Germany, China, South Kora, France and Pakistan.

Shaikh Mohammad described JCSC as a military education monument that is classified among the best academic institutes around the world. Shaikh Mohammad expressed his pride in the JCSC, which hosts UAE Armed Forces officers and their counterparts from brotherly and friendly countries, who come to the JCSC to receive their military education on the hands of Emirati officers.

He pointed out that these Emirati officers have worked diligently, and they are now benefitting their colleagues from the UAE and abroad.

Addressing the ceremony, Major General Juma Obaid Al Kaabi, Commander of JCSC, said that the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will remain on the path of excellence, and does not know the meaning of the word impossible thanks to the capabilities of its youth who are loyal to the wise leadership.

Also present during the ceremony were Shaikh Ahmad Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation; Lieutenant General Hamad Mohammad Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and other senior officers and guests.
