Moroni, Comoros: Comoros President Azali Assoumani received Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, who is currently on an official visit to the country.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in various fields, especially in trade, economy, education, fisheries, development and energy. They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
Shaikh Abdullah lauded the existing fraternal relations between the two countries and the efforts being made to develop them in all fields, expressing the UAE’s desire to expand the horizons of those relations.
The meeting was attended by Comoros’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and the Francophonie, Mohammad Al Ameen Souef, and the country’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Hamid Kerhela.
