Dubai: A Dubai resident plucked up the courage and proposed to his fiance at a fire station in Dubai.
With the help of firefighters, Shelton was able to pop the big question at the Emirates Civil Defence Martyrs' Station, which was previously known as Al Manara Civil Defence Station.
According to Dubai Civil Defence’s Instagram account, the fiance decided to wear a firefighter’s uniform, “to assure his fiancee of his readiness to overcome any challenges they might face in life journey."
This is the first time that a marriage proposal was made at a UAE fire station.
“Her obsession with firetrucks made me decide exactly how I wanted to make this happen,” said the fiance on his Instagram post.
