Fujairah: An Asian man drowned while swimming at Al Riglat beach in Fujairah on Wednesday, a police official told Gulf News.
The body of the Asian man was recovered after five hours of searching.
The police operations room received a call about the incident at 6.30pm. The man’s body was recovered and moved to hospital. Later, the body was moved to a forensic laboratory for autopsy.
Fujairah Police appealed to the public to avoid swimming in areas where warning signs are displayed and avoid the sea during unstable weather.
