Ajman: A major incident was averted after a van carrying gas cylinders collided with a bus in Ajman.
The van overturned in the crash, with one of the cylinders leaking.
The accident occurred on Al Ittihad Road in the Al Jurf area.
First Lietunanent Mohammad Al Muhairi, director of the media department at Ajman Civil Defence, said firefighters were able to control the leak after arrive on the scene quickly.
No injuires were reported, he said.
He explained that the rescue team dealt with the serious situation with the utmost professionalism.
The team removed the gas cylinders from the van to ensure the safety of road users.
Ajman Police will now complete the investigation.
