Dubai: Linden Educational Services in partnership with United States Mission to the UAE and EducationUSA, will host the 2018 American Universities Fall Education Fairs in Dubai and Sharjah.

US Consul General Philip Frayne will open the three-hour fair in Dubai at 4pm on Saturday at the Shangri-La Hotel, a press release said.

In Sharjah, the fair will be held on Monday at The Golden Tulip Hotel from 5pm.

Admissions counsellors representing accredited universities from across the US will be available to speak with students interested in pursuing their education in the US.

The events are free and open to the public. Online pre-registration through www.LindenTours.com will ensure quicker entry to the fair, the release said.

Country Public Affairs Officer Scott Bolz said: “The US Mission is happy to partner with Linden Educational Services to bring internationally recognised US universities to the UAE. Students will meet with representatives from the University of California Berkeley and Hult International Business School, among many others. We want to provide students in the UAE with the best academic options for studying in the United States. We want to support their paths to career success in a way that will positively impact the UAE and the world.”

EducationUSA Adviser Rowan Atiya said: “EducationUSA advisers will be present to provide students and their families with comprehensive information on studying in the US. We are committed to ensuring UAE students have the tools they need to choose the school that fits their academic and personal needs.”

Linden’s Executive Director John A. Williamson stated: “All representatives will be there to speak one-on-one with students and parents about undergraduate and graduate programmes.”
